Judy Chee is a Registered Acupuncturist, having completed a 3-year diploma course in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. Judy believes that acupuncture is an effective tool for aiding the body’s natural functions and promoting self-healing. Judy has treated clients experiencing a wide range of challenges, including musculoskeletal concerns, pain management, gastrointestinal and female-specific issues.
Chronic health issues throughout her 20s, with little or no relief from western modalities, led Judy to seek alternative therapies. After successful treatment from a combination of acupuncture, diet therapy, and traditional herbs, Judy’s health improved, and she gained a keen interest in and appreciation for the holistic approach to healing. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge so that others can have similar success stories.
Judy is presently studying Chinese herbal medicine and is working toward becoming a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner. She actively seeks out new learning opportunities and new techniques for living a healthier lifestyle, such as sound therapy and food cures, which she incorporates into her acupuncture treatments.
To balance her demanding career, Judy enjoys the outdoor lifestyle and can often be found hiking or cycling around British Columbia’s many trails. She also plays the piano and the ukulele, and meditates regularly.
