Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner And Registered Acupuncturist
Judy Chee is a Registered TCM Practitioner and Acupuncturist, having completed a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine 5-year course at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and an internship at Tzu Chi Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. Judy believes that acupuncture is an effective tool for aiding the body’s natural functions and promoting self-healing. Judy has treated clients experiencing a wide range of challenges, including musculoskeletal concerns, pain management, gastrointestinal issues, mental health, pregnancy, infertility, urinary health and female-specific issues.
Chronic health issues throughout her 20s, with little or no relief from western modalities, led Judy to seek alternative therapies. After successful treatment from a combination of acupuncture, diet therapy and traditional herbs, Judy’s health improved, and she gained a keen interest in and appreciation for the holistic approach to healing. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge so that others can have similar success stories.
Judy actively seeks out new learning opportunities and new techniques for living a healthier lifestyle, such as Chinese herbal medicine, sound therapy and food cures, which she incorporates into her acupuncture treatments.
To balance her demanding career, Judy enjoys the outdoor lifestyle and can often be found hiking or cycling around British Columbia’s many trails. She also plays the piano and the ukulele, and meditates regularly.
