Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are clinically trained healthcare professionals and are regulated by the College of Massage Therapy of British Columbia. The foundation of massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints. RMTs use their extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, combined with traditional Swedish and modern massage therapy techniques, to treat their clients. Symptoms associated with the following physical limitations would benefit from massage therapy:

  • discomfort
  • acute or diffuse pain
  • stress
  • everyday
  • occupational
  • muscular over-use
  • chronic pain conditions.

Massage therapy can be an important part of your health maintenance plan by:

  • reducing or eliminating pain
  • reducing muscular tension.
  • improving joint mobility
  • improving circulation
  • improving lymphatic drainage

Our  RMTs are able to treat both acute and chronic conditions with care and consideration for individual needs.
